The World Darts Championship is underway as the best players in the world descent on London’s Alexandra Palace to fight for the £2.5million prize pot. Defending champion Peter Wright is one of the favourites from the outset, as is Gerwyn Price. Michael van Gerwen will also be out for glory.

The World Championship will be shown live on the dedicated Sky Sports Darts channel in the UK.
