Laura, 52, is an attorney is specialises in divorce and she’s the managing partner at family law firm Wasser, Cooperman & Mandles.
The talented lawyer has many strings to her bow, and she’s also founder and chief executive officer of the online divorce platform, ‘it’s over easy,’ as well as being the host of ‘The Divorce Sucks! Podcast With Laura Wasser.’
Laura has had a long career in law. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley.
She then went on to earn a J.D. degree from Loyola Law School in 1994, and she’s been a member of the California Bar ever since.
And this isn’t Laura’s first time working with Kim – Laura was hired to help with Kim’s divorce from ex-husband Kris Humphries.
She’s also popular among celebrities, and as well as Kim, she’s helped the likes of Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, Johnny Depp and Drew Barrymore.
She has also represented Christina Aguilera, Ryan Reynolds, Anna Faris and Ben Affleck.
The in-demand lawyer has received a number of awards for her work with divorce cases, including the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law Zephyr Ramsey Award in 2008 and the Century City Chamber of Commerce Women of Achievement Award in 2011.
As a result of her extensive career, Wasser has published books on her work including ‘It Doesn’t Have to Be That Way: How to Divorce Without Destroying Your Family Or Bankrupting Yourself.’
The 52 year old has built up a presence on social media too, and boasts 13,000 followers on Instagram.

According to Distractify, Laura was briefly married in 1993, and she’s since reflected on her wedding day during an interview with Net-A-Porter.
She said: “It was a great party, I totally love him, but we never discussed kids, or where we were gonna live. It was folly. He’s a great guy and I’m still happy to know him. I loved my wedding, and I’ll never look better than I looked in those pictures.
“But, if you had asked me that day, ‘Do you think that you’re going to be with this man until the day you die?’ I think I’d have had the wherewithal to say, ‘Probably not, but isn’t this a fun day?’”
Laura has two sons, Luke, 11, and Jack, 6, with two ex-boyfriends.
