Where is Paula Lane now?
Paula, 34, departed the cobbles some years ago after falling pregnant with her second child.
The actress told OK! Magazine she wanted to take a break from acting in a bid to focus on her family.
She said: “I think it’s got to be a clean break, I don’t think I’m going to take anything.
“I have to put Kylie in a box, literally. I think that’s the healthiest option.”
Paula is married to Tom Shaw, and the pair wed in 2014 and share two children together, Arthur and Penny.
Paul returned to the cobbles when Arthur was just 11 weeks old but told OK! Magazine that felt too soon in hindsight.
“I feel like I’ve got to nurture this new baby. Arthur only had 11 weeks with me before I went back to work. I’ve done six years of solid work so I think I owe it to myself to have a natural break,” she explained.
Now, Paula is a devoted mum who appears to be living in Yorkshire, if her Instagram is anything to go by.
The brunette beauty shares the occasional life update with her 128,000 Instagram fans; from pictures in nature, to her children’s toys scattered on the floor.
In December 2020 she shared a throwback of herself as Kylie in Corrie, writing: “Happy 60th Coronation Street. Forever thankful for 6 wonderful years in the best company and for everything I learnt there. So proud to have walked and died on those cobbles! Go team xx”
Paula was involved in a project to save the arts amid the coronavirus pandemic, and posed alongside other actors for The Ceremony, which looked as though it was performed at Leeds music hall.
Paula is also an avid runner who often shares snaps while out tacking big runs, while showing her progress on fitness app Strava.
Last year, Paula shared a sweet snap on Instagram while celebrating her wedding anniversary to husband Tom Shaw.
She shared a black and white image of the pair on the dance floor from their wedding, with the caption: “Happy six years married my @SirTomShaw. #10weekspregnant.”
