It’s been a long wait, but Love Island is finally back. Almost 16 months after Paige Turley and Finn Tapp were crowned winners of the show’s first winter season, the villa is now hosting a whole new bunch of sexy singletons.
In the first episode, we watched as the girls were left fighting over the boys as they all met for the first time.
Liberty Poole, Sharon Gaffka, Kaz Kamwi, Faye Winter and Shannon Singh cheered as the boys entered the villa and they all picked who they’d like to be coupled up with.
They’ve all since coupled up, and we’ve already had one bombshell thrown in, with Chloe Burrows stirring things up in the villa.

And it’s safe to say the hit show already has viewers hooked, but how long does Love Island go on for, and when is the final? Let’s take a look…
How long will Love Island 2021 be on for?
It looks like it’s set to be a long, hot summer as Love Island 2021 is set to last for eight weeks, as usual.
This means the show will continue throughout July and August.
A source previously told the MailOnline: “Crew members are scheduled to fly out to Majorca on June 20 – with the series expected to launch a week later. The delayed launch date will not have an impact on the length of the series, with the show still running for a duration of eight weeks.”
When is the final of Love Island 2021?
The finale date of the hit show is yet to be confirmed by ITV.
However if the series is running for eight weeks then this would put the final at around August 23.
The series typically ends on a Monday, and fans watch the final day with four couples remaining.
The final day on the show typically consists of a prom, where the contestants will get dressed up and write speeches, with some declaring their love for each other.
Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm every weekday evening
