Another back-to-back run of races is about to begin as the 2022 F1 season
continues with the 12th round of the campaign, the French Grand Prix.

The event will take place at the Circuit Paul Ricard, which has been a
regular fixture on the Formula 1 schedule since its return in 2018.

Max Verstappen was the last driver to win the race in 2021, and this year will arrive into the weekend with a 38-point lead over Charles Leclerc in the World Championship standings.

When is the 2022 French GP?

The 2022 French Grand Prix will be held across the weekend of 22-24 July.

There will be the usual format in place, with two practice sessions held on Friday, followed by FP3 and qualifying on Saturday, and the main event on Sunday.

The race will take place over 53 laps of the 5.842-kilometre Circuit Paul Ricard, with a maximum race time of two hours if there are any stoppages or delays.
