The bombshell of the transfer window, before it’s even officially open, is that Marcus Rashford is now ready to leave his boyhood club Manchester United.

The rumours have been swirling, but now Rashford has confirmed it himself.

Speaking to journalist Henry Winter during a one-on-one interview, Rashford admitted: ” For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”

He has now been valued in the region of £100m, despite now being 27-years old.

Former United icon Teddy Sheringham feels United must get big, big money, or not bother selling.

“Oh, you’ve got to be talking £100m,” Sheringham told Express Sport.“I’m very surprised that there’s talk about him leaving United. I think Man United need to keep their best players and get them working to the best of their capabilities.”
