Tottenham have reportedly offered Lyon the chance to re-sign Tanguy Ndombele in a swap deal that would see Houssem Aouar move to north London. Tottenham recently entered the race to sign long-term Arsenal target Aouar. The news comes soon after it was claimed the Gunners had pulled out of a move for the Frenchman this summer.
Arsenal were linked with Aouar throughout the summer of 2020 but were not willing to match Lyon’s asking price.
However, the 23-year-old is available in a cut-price deal after entering the final two years of his Lyon contract.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are all linked with Aouar.
But ESPN claims Spurs have moved in their attempts to sign the midfielder.
Earlier on Friday, French outlet Le10Sport claimed Arsenal had ended their interest in Aouar.
Arsenal were reported to have made an offer of around £17m for Aouar, with Lyon wanting up to £21.3m (€25m).
Le10Sport also reported interest in Aouar from Liverpool and United.
Liverpool are said to be keen on the player as a potential replacement for the departed Georginio Wijnaldum.

“Harry is our player. Period,” Nuno said.
“There is no need to talk about anything else. Now is the time for him to recover his energy. When he comes again we will have time to have a good conversation.
“What I wish is for Harry to recover well and when he arrives he will feel that every one of us has to commit ourselves to become better.
“We are ambitious people, we want to do well and we count on Harry.
“Now he must prepare for what is coming, I am looking forward to him joining the group.”
