Julian Nagelsmann is reportedly open to taking the Tottenham job this summer, despite links to Bayern Munich. The RB Leipzig boss is a man in demand with the Bundesliga club now facing a fight to keep their highly-rated head coach.

Tottenham look set to go toe-to-toe with Bayern for the German, with Nagelsmann deemed one of the most attractive options in the current landscape.

Leipzig though, won’t give him up without a fight and the club look set to demand a figure between £13million and £17m for his services.

Daniel Levy is set to wait until the end of the season before appointing a new manager in north London.

Ryan Mason has today been confirmed as interim boss until the end of the campaign, giving Levy some breathing space to secure the right candidate.

Bayern are now on the lookout for a new manager following Hansi Flick’s decision to walk away from the Allianz Arena at the end of the season.

Relations between Flick and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic began to sour before Flick was offered the Germany national team job.

Joachim Low has decided to step down at the end of the season with Flick now set to replace him.

It leaves Tottenham in a dogfight with Bayern for Nagelsmann although the Bavarians are also interested in talking with Ajax boss Erik ten Hag.

Furthermore, Tottenham also have a host of other options in mind.

Express Sport understands that Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is amongst the names under discussion.

Eddie Howe is also an outsider for the job after a full season away from the game.

For now, Spurs remain determined to finish the season strongly as they look to add more silverware to their trophy cabinet.
