Susanna Reid, 50, has had a successful career as a journalist and presenter. Currently presenting Good Morning Britain alongside Piers Morgan, Susanna revealed in a recent interview that she has no “emotional investment” in whether or not she earns less than her co-host.
In a recent interview with GQ, the presenter explained that she doesn’t know how much money Piers earns and said that she trusts ITV to pay her what she should be paid.
In regards to Piers’ salary, and if finding out he earned more she would be hurt or shocked, she said: “I don’t have an emotional investment in it. I wouldn’t react in that way, no.”
Before moving to ITV, Susanna also took part in BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
She was runner up on the show in 2013, which could have seen her earn up to £75,000 for the appearance.
In 2017, the broadcaster responded to the BBC rich list by revealing his own salary.
The TV presenter responded to a post on Twitter calling for celebrities to reveal their salaries.
The tweet read: “Thing is though, for all this chat and judgement who would just openly tweet their salary right now? Go on, I dare you.”
Piers replied: “£22,500,000.”
The journalist continues to add to his fortune by writing columns and presenting TV shows.
Piers was also a judge on Britain’s Got Talent for four years alongside Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden.
He also won the celebrity version of The Apprentice in 2008.
