Actress Pia Miranda is one of the strongest players on Australian Survivor.

But on Monday, the 46-year-old revealed she struggled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after filming the show.

Speaking to New Weekly magazine, Pia said it took a long time for her to adjust to the outside world after her stint in Fiji

‘I honestly felt like I had a bit of PTSD,’ the Looking for Alibrandi star said.

She explained that she thought her own family was plotting against her. 

‘It took me a long time to relax — I thought everyone was plotting against me.’

‘I told myself, ”My family isn’t plotting against me,” but some days I’d struggle to look them in the eye,’ Pia added.  

‘I kept saying, ”I have to keep an eye on everyone.” But I was just being paranoid.’  

Pia went on to say that she also had problems adjusting to using an inside toilet, with her going outside behind a tree. 

The brunette previously told News.com.au: ‘Even looking out of a window is overwhelming. The first time I heard a song I burst into tears.’

Earlier this month, Pia also revealed she suffered from the autoimmune skin condition vitiligo while filming on the island. 

Vitiligo is a skin condition where patches of the skin lose their pigment, and can affect any part of the body including lips.

‘I was made aware of it but I decided to push through and not stress about it until I came home because… Survivor!’ she wrote on Instagram at the time.
