Premier League final-day permutations – how can Liverpool, Arsenal qualify for Europe? | Football | Sport

Europa League permutations

West Ham need just one point to qualify for the Europa League after their win over West Brom on Wednesday.

If they lose, they open the door to both Tottenham and Everton, who are both three points behind the Hammers.

Arsenal, down in ninth place, cannot qualify for the Europa League but can still wriggle their way into the Europa Conference League.

In order for Arteta’s side to qualify, they need to win their final game of the season against Brighton, or draw and hope Leicester put eight past Tottenham to make up the goal difference.
