Marcus Rashford snubs Tottenham and West Ham as ’20 clubs circle for Man Utd star’ | Football | Sport

Marcus Rashford has reportedly turned down the opportunity to join another Premier League team, with Tottenham and West Ham United having been snubbed by the Englishman.

Rashford has been touted with a move away from Old Trafford all month, having been out of favour ever since Ruben Amorim arrived at the club.

Since the Portuguese tactician was ushered in as Erik ten Hag’s replacement, Rashford has featured just six times for the Red Devils and hasn’t played at all since early December.

Despite having only been involved in one matchday squad during that time, Amorim has admitted he isn’t at odds with Rashford and recent reports suggested the player would be willing to return to the starting XI, if called upon.

Talk of a move away from the club hasn’t dissipated though, with The Independent revealing Tottenham and West Ham had inquired about the forward – something he was quick to turn down.

Instead, Rashford is believed to be eyeing up a move to a club that is competing for silverware, with Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan having been credited as potential suitors.

It’s now suggested by the report that Juventus is the most likely destination for Rashford in January, given they’re the only club said to be capable of completing a loan move.

Rashford has until February 3rd to come to a decision on his United future.

If former Red Devils ace Rio Ferdinand had his way, Rashford, alongside fellow team-mate Alejandro Garnacho, would’ve already left the club.

He told talkSPORT earlier this week: “It’s normally not one person who can get you out of these types of situations but where are those individuals you need? I don’t see enough of them at the moment.

“The worrying thing is that these players are leaving and looking like they are spreading their wings and breathing again.

“[Scott] McTominay looks brilliant and look at [Anthony] Elanga at Nottingham Forest. Even [Jadon] Sancho looks like a different person at Chelsea.”

Amorim’s side return to Premier League action on Sunday evening when they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The three-time European champions have won just one of their last six Premier League matches and currently sit a whopping 14 points off the Champions League qualification places.

Following this weekend’s clash, United wrap up their Europa League campaign in Bucharest against FCSB on Thursday before welcoming Crystal Palace to Old Trafford the weekend after.
