Manchester United are desperately in need of some inspiration after their 1-0 defeat against Newcastle, and Paul Pogba couldd provide the answer.
The World Cup winning midfielder has been out of form since he tired to force through a move to Real Madrid in the summer, but his new regime is proof that he is on a mission.
In a video posted to his official Instagram account, Pogba has been taking part in an rigorous spinning routine on a bike, which is made all the more difficult by the maximum temperature of 37 degrees.
“They say hard work pay off what about hard work in the heat? Let’s see,” Pogba wrote alongside the post.
“Loving the view though.. Allah always in control.”
Pogba is said to be in the country as he visits the Transform Altitude Performance Center in Dubai, which is considered the best option to get him back and ready to feature.
United’s next fixture is against Liverpool at Old Trafford after the international break, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reckons that its the perfect fixture for the Red Devils to right their wrongs.
The Norwegian told BBC Sport: “That’s a perfect game for us.
“The international break is also at the perfect time because their heads need a bit of airing.
“They will go away with their national teams, meet their team-mates and come back fresh.
“We have had a good time together, we have prepared since the first day of pre-season, we have stuck to the same principles.
“We have not got the result today but we have to keep carrying on.”
One player more likely to feature than Pogba is Axel Tuanzebe, who started against Newcastle on Sunday night.
He said of the upcoming Liverpool clash: “It’s always a big game.
“Through my Academy stages, Liverpool is a must-win.
“It’s a brutal game. It wasn’t a tippy-tappy game; no matter what age group.”
