Roy Keane was back to his brilliant best upon his return to punditry, as he was asked to give his thought on Jesse Lingard’s dance moves. The West Ham attacking midfielder was in hot form once again at the London Stadium as the Hammers looked to edge closer to a surprise top-four finish.
Lingard has been a revelation since arriving on loan from Manchester United in January until the end of the season.
It was a tough decision for him to turn his back on Old Trafford but now it has paid dividends with Lingard now back in the England squad.
Gareth Southgate was watching on from the stands in east London as Lingard struck an impressive opener from outside the area.
The 28-year-old steered the ball around the Leicester defenders and into Kasper Schmeichel’s bottom corner.
United look set to demand up to £30million for their attacker at the end of the season when he returns north to Manchester.
It’s now believed that Arsenal have also entered the race for his services.
Lingard now has eight goals in nine outings for the Hammers in the Premier League since January.
He has also got three assists to his name and that was nearly four in the second half.
Issa Diop powered home his cross with a header that went in off the post but the Frenchman was ruled offside.
