Who is Rudolph Walker?
Rudolph Walker is an actor originally from Trinidad.
He left his Caribbean home country at the age of 20 to pursue his acting career, heading for England on the advice of fellow actor Errol John.
What else has Rudolph Walker starred in?
Rudolph has been prolific in his long career, having stared in well known shows such as Ali G Indahouse, Doctor Who and Mr Bean.
He has also taken roles on stage in productions including Shakespeare’s Othello and The Tempest.
It may also surprise you to learn that the actor also lent his voice to children’s TV hit Teletubbies.
Rudolph spoke the American dubbed version’s open and closing sequences, as well as being the voice of the trumpets for both UK and US audiences.
Who is Rudolph Walker married to?
Rudolph was married to Lorna Ross in 1968, but they divorced after having two children.
He then married fellow Trinidadian Dounne Alexander MBE in 1998.
She is a businesswoman who has a health food range called Gramma’s, and a passionate natural health advocate, which may account for the fact that Rudolph looks so young!
However this union also ended and since 2016 the actor is happily married to Evangeline Vincent.
What does Rudolph do in his spare time?
At the age of 70 the actor decided to give back.
He created The Rudolph Walker Foundation which helps disadvantaged youth to get a career in the arts.
