According to reports in Spain, there is also interest from Spurs’ Premier League rivals Everton, with Carlo Ancelotti keen to bring him to Goodison Park.
The Toffees managed to pull off a coup last summer in signing Bale’s former teammate James Rodriguez and they hope to repeat the trick this time around.
However, from his very negative outlook earlier this season, Bale has recently sounded more open to a longer stay at his beloved Spurs.
“I am feeling good. I just needed to play games, I just needed a run of games and I am kind of doing that now,” he explained after his hat-trick vs Sheffield United.
“I am happy and when I am happy I normally play well.”
