Football Manager fans will be excited to know the latest edition is just around the corner.
The simulation game comes with “new features” and “polished game mechanics”.
It promises to give users greater accountability for both their own and their team’s destiny.
Football Manager 2020 will also be a launch title on Google Stadia, new gaming streaming platform which allows users to play modern games without the need for high-powered hardware.
Miles Jacobson, Studio Director of Sports Interactive, said: “Football Manager on Stadia includes technology that is only available on that platform, utilising the power of the cloud and Google’s data centres to ensure that more matches can be processed in parallel utilising spare bandwidth across the whole system.
“This means you can have more leagues loaded into your save, or just go for a faster experience by keeping the amount of leagues the same, but having the matches process quicker than you can on any other platform.”
When will Football Manager 2020 be released?
The official release date has not yet been confirmed.
However, the company did announce the game would be out in early November.
Can I pre-order the game?
Yes, fans can pre-order Football Manager 2020 right now and those purchasing the PC/Mac version are eligible to receive a discount.
The company said: “From announce until launch, fans who pre-purchase Football Manager 2020 (PC/Mac), from a SEGA approved digital retailer (or from a participating physical retailer) will receive a 10% discount.”
The standard price of Football Manager 2020 will be £39.99.
This year’s edition will also be debuting new packaging.
Jacobson said: “I’m very proud to announce that packaging for the standard edition of Football Manager 2020 will be what we believe to be a first for the industry – it’s the most environmentally friendly packaging we’ve been able to put together.
“We are replacing the plastic box that is typically used across the industry with a reinforced, 100% recycled gatefold cardboard sleeve, made with 100% recycled fibres.
“We’ve changed the printing on the packaging to vegetable and water-based ink with a recycled paper manual inside and have managed to source recyclable shrink wrap to encase the packaging and keep it secure on its travels.
“This packaging is not only recycled, but it’s also almost entirely recyclable.”
