Ferrari complete surprise F1 filming day before rolling out update package


Ferrari have hit the track between the Miami and Spanish Grands Prix after electing to carry out a filming day on home soil at Monza.

A photo of Charles Leclerc in action at the Italian Grand Prix venue was shared on Ferrari’s social media channels on Friday afternoon, with the team adding that their “focus now shifts to Barcelona next weekend”.

Ferrari are set to bring a raft of updates to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as they look to fend off an ever-improving Red Bull package.

The primary purpose of a filming day is to capture content for team
partners and the media, while they are often used as dedicated shakedown sessions for new cars.

Ferrari have now used up their two permitted filming days for the year, having also taken to the Barcelona circuit before pre-season testing.
