Emmerdale stars Jeff Hordley and Zoe Henry are a real life couple, but they didn’t actually meet on the hit ITV soap.
In fact the loved-up duo, who play Cain Dingle and Rhona Goskirk, have been together since drama college and they got married in 2003.
Although we may know their on-screen escapades, when the camera’s stop rolling their lives seem to be far more simple than the scandalous dales.
This is proven by Zoe recently sharing an insight into their home life and their bountiful haul of homegrown vegetables.

The couple, who are parents to two children, Violet, 14, and Stan, 10, look after an allotment where they put a lot of time into growing impressive-looking foods.
On 2 August Zoe showed off their recent harvest, by first sharing a snap of Jeff standing in their allotment holding a large swede in either hand, proudly smiling into the camera and managing to look cool thanks to a pair of shades.
She then shared a vibrant trolly filled to the brim with goodies, including different types of potato, raspberries, cranberries, blueberries, beans, cucumber, broccoli and cabbage.
The star captioned the pair of images: “I’m not bragging (I am) but we’ve never grown swede before, however, we’ve had first time success….and we are are THRILLED!!!”
The pair, who live in a gorgeous cottage in Yorkshire, like to grow their own vegetable not only because its fun, but also because Jeff has certain dietary requirements.
Zoe told The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine last year: ”We have an allotment and it’s so therapeutic to have your hands in the earth.
“We’re mindful of what we eat, but watching our diet isn’t about being on TV, it’s more about general well-being, as Jeff has Crohn’s disease.”
The actor couple are obviously as happy to work together as they are tending to their veggies.
Zoe recently told The Sun in an interview: “It’s important to have a laugh in-between takes so upsetting stories don’t get you down too much.
“Working on the same show as Jeff, who plays Cain Dingle, also helps because if one of us is having a bad day then the other will completely understand.”
