EA Sports UFC 5 Announces Huge Roster Updates To Coincide With UFC 300 And Future Pay-Per-Views

UFC 300 goes down in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 13, featuring a card that rivals any pay-per-view in UFC history. While the vast majority of the fighters appearing on UFC 300 are already included in EA Sports UFC 5, developer EA Vancouver is celebrating the milestone UFC event by announcing a big roster update. Not only that, but more fighters will join the roster in both May and June.

This first roster update arrives tomorrow, April 4, and adds several ranked and up-and-coming fighters. The additions, all of which are included free, feature the likes of surging prospects, mainstay contenders, and fan favorites. You can see the full list of free additions coming this week below.

UFC 300 (Early April) Roster Additions

When EA Sports UFC 5 arrived last fall, one of the biggest critiques was that the latest edition was missing so many currently ranked fighters. Through post-launch updates like this one, EA Sports has largely addressed that criticism. According to EA Sports, by the end of June, the game with feature 98 percent parity with the current top 10 rankings across the various weight classes.
