DWP confirms new Jobcentre locations: Full list of temporary Jobcentres – check now | Personal Finance | Finance

Despite their importance, the DWP was forced to restrict their physical usage in 2020 as coronavirus limited interactions.

However, the Government has detailed these restrictions are set (hopefully) to be pulled back over the summer months and today, the DWP highlighted Jobcentre usage could ramp up again as restrictions are lifted.

The Minister for Employment, Mims Davies, announced job seekers across the UK will have easier access to more frontline support as 80 towns and cities nationwide will be welcoming new temporary Jobcentres.

The sites, some of which are already up and running, will be in addition to the existing 639 Jobcentres already supporting those looking for work, and will house some of the country’s 13,500 new Work Coaches.
