Cristiano Ronaldo‘s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez has described the healthcare professionals taking on the coronavirus as “heroes”. Rodriguez shared the message with her 17million followers on Instagram.
She wrote: “The real HEROES don’t wear capes. Our HEROES wear a gown, gloves, masks and PPE.
“Doctors, nurses, psychologists, and warders fight and risk their lives to save us.
“Millions of thanks to all the health professionals who with their great work, vocation, solidarity and love are fighting in this war against COVID-19.
“LET’S FINISH THIS VIRUS!!! STAY HOME, PLEASE. SMALL ACTIONS SAVE LIVES.”
Who is Georgina Rodriguez?
Ronaldo has been in a relationship with Rodriguez since 2017.
She told Italian media her first encounter with Ronaldo came while she was working in a high-end clothing shop in Madrid.
Ronaldo was a Real Madrid player at the time and Rodriguez revealed there was an instant attraction.
“It’s my mum’s dream as well. So, one day. Why not?”
Ronaldo and Rodriguez have a one-year-old daughter together named Alana Martina.
Ronaldo also has three other children, all born via surrogacy.
Cristiano Jr was born in June 2010, and twins Eva and Mateo were born in June 2017.
