As a homegrown product, Gallagher would represent 100 per cent value on Chelsea’s financial records if they do make a sale. Spurs have registered an interest but will not be the only potential suitors if Gallagher is made available for a transfer, though Pochettino has stated on several occasions his desire to keep the midfielder.
“I think he’s a player with a great commitment to the team, always trying to compensate every single situation,” Pochettino said of Gallagher last month. “It’s priceless to have a player like him.
“Always he decided, what he said to me was that he wanted to stay at Chelsea. But it’s about him and the club. I am not (worried about) these types of things, he has another year on his contract. But that’s a matter for him and the club.”
