Chelsea news: Ruben Amorim has perfect chance to send message to Todd Boehly vs Tottenham | Football | Sport

“Chelsea have presented a coach for the next five years. I am happy here and I am not thinking about another project.”

Amorim has also piled the pressure on Spurs ahead of the north Londoners’ visit. He said in his pre-match press conference: “Tottenham are the clear favourites in the group.

“They are a team that have one of the best attacks in the world with a winning coach in Italy and England and world-class players. Of course the previous game increases our confidence but the pressure will in any case be on Tottenham who will be favourites.”

Boehly has had a busy couple of weeks with the sacking of Thomas Tuchel and swift appointment of Potter. But perhaps he will have one eye on Estadio Jose Alvalade at 5.45pm this evening.
