“But when you go beyond it with a personal statement from someone that never makes a personal statement, and doesn’t just leave it at ‘thank you for all the things you’ve done, we wish you well, you had a good 18 months with us but it wasn’t good enough’, and then you take it even further and say ‘there is no ability for you to give us any ounce of confidence that you can fix this problem’, I think that is going beyond what you normally from football club ownership.”
