Valtteri Bottas has qualified for and will compete in the World Gravel Championships in cycling over F1’s autumn break.

With an unusual four-week gap between the Singapore and United States Grands Prix before a run of two triple-headers close out the season, drivers are re-charging for the final push to Abu Dhabi, but Bottas is keeping race-sharp.

A keen cyclist with partner Tiffany Cromwell, a member of Australia’s Olympic team, Bottas has entered and qualified for the World Gravel Championships in the 35-38 age range.

Announcing his participation, the Stake driver, who is now expected to remain with the team for the 2025 season, put his qualification down to “typical Finnish determination…”
