Those who stop becoming a member of Blue Rewards, for any reason, will see their account converted to the Barclays instant access savings account.
To stay eligible for Blue Rewards, people will need to pay at least £800 into their chosen current account every month and pay the monthly fee from that account.
The monthly fee is £5 to join, but it provides £5 cash back every month a person pays out two or more direct debits, meaning the fee is essentially waived.
