He has been a prolific goalscorer in under-18 and under-23 football and clearly believes he deserves a more regular chance in the first team.
Balogun was not in the 20-man squad for the FA Cup third round win over Newcastle United last Saturday.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano believes Balogun wants to stay at Arsenal if he is promised more regular action.
However, he expects him to leave if that is not the case.
“If Mikel will change the situation and let him play in the next weeks for sure the situation can change and he can sit with Arsenal and discuss a new contract,” Romano told AFTV.
