Goals are still likely to be a concern, however, given they have only notched 13 in their first 11 league games of the campaign.

For Ranieri’s side, Arsenal’s win marks Watford’s third defeat in the four games played since he replaced Xisco Munoz as boss. 

They occupy a precarious position two points clear of the relegation zone, although Newcastle, Burnley and Norwich are all showing gradual improvements in form.
