The Halogen Air fryer uses little to no oil to fry food and is hailed as the healthiest way to cook food and a great alternative to using a frying pan.

Ringing in at £22.99 the bargain product has 93 five star reviews on Aldi’s website with customers leaving lengthy praises of the fryer.

“I’m using this for quite a few years ago now. Can’t do without it. Very happy and will recommend,” [sic] read one review.

Other customers said they were in their third year of using it “twice a day every day without fail” and that it had “outlasted every other brand”.

Another shopper said they use it for cooking a “full Sunday roast” and said it “saves money on using the main oven”.

While another fan of the product said: “I treated myself to a halogen oven after hearing how good they were from a friend. [sic]

“I’ve used it every day since – it saves time because it heats up quickly, it cooks perfectly and, most of all, it is so easy to use. I don’t think I’ll be using my big oven so often now. This is a ‘must-have’.” [sic]

The purchase is perfect for anyone looking for a January health kick.

The game-changing product can be used for cooking, grilling, baking or roasting at home.

The air fryer, which has adjustable temperature and timer settings, has a 1.7l capacity, meaning it’s big enough to feed the whole family or, if you live alone, to batch cook dinners for your entire week.

Air fryers work by circulating hot air through the food, baking it rather than frying it which is how it manages to use so little oil.

If you’re sick of cooking the same old thing, in the same way, every night, this could be just the thing to refresh your home cooking repertoire until restaurants are open again.

It also has a nifty self-cleaning setting which means scrubbing the frying pan clean can be a thing of the past.
